Google revealed that a single query on google can consume the processing of 1000 machines.
Google had gained its technology much, both search queries and processing have been increased by 1000 folds, and the crawlers which took months in last century, now take few minutes to do the same task!
The change that caused the usage of 1000 machines instead of 12 as before was the switching to the holding of the complete search index in memory.
However, now the claim that google makes amout its data centres to be the world's most efficient, and that google query takes 0.0003KWH is not appearing to be really so!
