Yesterday, one of my client and a very good friend asked me to work on his wordpress theme that he got developed from some developer few months ago. When i started working on it, i was severly irritated. There was no pattern of coding, all messed up.

The code was all flying here and there, tens of lines suddenly go blank, no formatting of code, etc, etc.

Although its fine to have that type of code, but its too difficult to track it! In order to work fine on it, i first formatted it, and then upon reading it, i got to find that the tas were mis formatted too, child tag being closed before the parent. Even some tags were left open, and at some places, there were closing tags out of no where, this all was basically one of the problems my client was facing on some pages!

I can understand that it might be like that the original developer developed the template with good code (but definitely not in terms of formatting) but due to continuous updating and editing, it got weired, and all tags mixed up,m but this could have been avoided if he had properly formatted the code in first place.
