I was trying to download the backtrack3 for vmware fusion this week, and found that the server was hell slow! Also, different server went down at different time, so the simple fix for this is :

1. If you are on mac, then download the speed 5 download manager for mac.

2. start downloading the backtrack3 from the official site through speed 5.

3. stop the download, double click the backtrack 3 in the speed 5 items list, and add these url on seperate lines in the url field:
